What does an artist convey – personalities and personality.
Alexander Gerlach feels, thinks and acts with all his senses. He has high highs and deep lows. He is open, highly sensitive, positive, amusing and he has dreams. He perceives his surroundings with all his senses. The selected materials represent the power of nature, coupled with industrial craftsmanship that is nevertheless sensual and warm. His sculptures are thus a living expression in metal, wood and stone.
What does an artist want to express - his emotions, his experiences, his thoughts. Ergo, art is the same as truth - a question of point of view.
Each work attempts to represent this (thought) origin, the core artistic message.
What does the person being addressed, the art lover, experience – his own emotions, his own experiences, his thoughts.
Your own feelings are what counts most – what does the viewer feel in the first second, what comes across to him.
Art objects – all of which have one origin, but still invite the viewer to see their own story in their own personal world.
